Yesterday, I went far far away, not even in present day Michigan. I went to several different states without leaving the one I lived in. I stepped over modern soil into ancient soil.

Rode in the world's oldest car

Hopped on a 97 year old ostrich

Made a newspaper ad

Stood where Abe Lincoln stood when he walked out on a client

Stood on Illinois Soil without leaving the state.

Met Thomas Edison as he told us how his lightbulb worked.

Saw half the plane the Wright brothers flew

Became a hobo

Went into Henry Ford's home

And saw an old Penny Farther being ridden


I finally made the switch back to modern Michigan around Detroit . . . . . . .
I love Greenfield Village!
