198 post

So Emma and I have had this blog for a pretty long while, about 2 1/2 years. And it's getting around that time again. Time for a 200th post. I remember when I didn't come on this blog very often, maybe once a month. I wouldn't even post a good long decent one explaining my absense. Just a "sorry, I haven't been on much. Busy." And that would be that. I like to refer to those as the "blogmute days" Hopefully there won't be anymore of those. Things will be awesome pretty soon. Well not awesome, but the pace will quicken and the days will get shorter, and we will be back in the swing of things. Back to school, important things, like flunkng math on accident, dancing around in gym, and doing cross country. Sounds exciting, doesn't it? . . . . .No. No, you're right, it doesn't. No fun.
I wish summer would last forever (such a cliche, but true, nonetheless). Because then every August 9th I would get to go to Ohio and go to Cedar Point. And I would be able to hang about the pool every other weekend. And I would hear the sounds of the crickets that remind me it's still summer. To sleep on the wrong side of my bed underneath the ceiling fan where the breeze coming from it is just right where it gets me right on the face. On the same side of the bed where when I lay in that position the street light that goes on and then off every 20 minutes shines in my face. Having my clothes lay in boxes and baskets all over because we STILL haven't painted my dresser. Leaning up against the window sill with the gentle night breeze cooling me off while listening to Owl City coming from my iHome. Being able to choose which bed I want to sleep in 2 minutes before I go to bed.

Ahh, yes, I will miss summer. It was a good one, and even though it didn't go as Hannah and I planned, I wouldn't change anything. Except to make it longer. =D

So my 200th post will give you a treat in seeing exactly what my first day was like. I will write the whole thing down on a few pieces of lined paper, and scan it in for you, so you can see when I wrote it and how I wrote it.  That's the best plan I have. So yes, school starts in 4 days. And I am seriously bummed about it. But you know, what can you do? Nothing, nothing at all.
