Paper Towns was a very interesting piece of literature. I borrowed it from Hannah Flagg. And then I started to read it and I was immediately hooked. Reading it whenever I had free time. On the couch in the center where it's the most comfortable, where you sink right in and can't get up for hours and hours and hours. It's like a pleasingly plump momma. (Hahaha.)
So I sat there for a long time pouring over Paper Towns. It's about this crazy girl who does weird things, and then she drags this kid Q into it. An all nighter doing mean things to people and then breaking into Seaworld. But then the next day she disappears somewhere. But she's run away before, so this is no surprise. But after a few days she doesn't come back, she's normally back. She's been known to leave bread crumb trails, clues to where she's hiding. So Q discovers this whole new girl he never knew existed inside of the one he's loved for so long.
I finished it! Yay! I couldn't put it down, honestly. I wanted to see if they found her. But after like every chapter they were all about the psychologicalness of it. About the Whitman book she had highlighted in, and made everything confusing. Part of it was all about life, like what it means, and how you can BECOME someone. That part I was a little bit bored with, but it turned out to be a book that I really really liked, and I'm glad Hannah Flagg let me borrow it.
I liked Ben the best, he was funny and awesome. Especially on the road trip. :-)
Then we went to the library and I got 3 other books I'm super excited to read. Lately I've been playing on my iPod, and taking forever to read a book. But when I sat back down and actually READ for more than an hour, I realized to heck with the technology for right now, this is a GOOD book.
Needless to say, I liked it,
Delaney
