Title: I FLIPPING LOVE THE BOOK STORE!!

This is the main topic of this post because of this picture.

This is why, because 1) I LOVE THESE BOOKS. 2)I have read the first one, but want it so I can refer to it, or look at the pictures whenever. 3)I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR THE SECOND ONE FOR EVER!! At the public library I go to, and the one at my school, on Saturday at the book store, AND I COULDN'T FIND IT! And now it's mine, all mine.

So earlier today before I did my homework I was flipping through the second one, the pictures are so awesomely done so of COURSE I wanted to see practically my favorite book from this series portrayed into color. And as I predicted, it's super awesome. And now it's mine ALL MINE.
I would prefer them to match, either it be the Artemis Fowl big print, or the smaller AF on the other side, I kinda like the big printed one better, because Disney Hyperion screwed the AF all up. But I kinda got over it, so I have all of the Disney actual books except for 2, which I got in last February as a set pack. My favorite cover is the Time Paradox though. It's a Disney cover. BUT STILL! I GOT THE BOOKS! I'm FREAKING OUT!! OMG! I LOVE this.
The lady that works at the book store happens to be this kid I went to school with's mom, so we know her from 3rd gradish. So I came up and was all "do you have the Artemis Fowl graphic novel?" Because on Saturday she said she was going to order some of the copies. But I never said Volume 2. So when I got there she handed me the first one. STILL I was ecstatic even though the one I really wanted was the Arctic Incident. Then she was all there's a volume 2, and then walked away, while still talking. She came back a few minutes later, holding it in her hand. Once she gave it to me, I couldn't stop looking at it while walking, and the whole time to the car, I just said Ohmigod. Ohmigod. OH MY GOSH. Ohmigosh. Ohmigod. The whole time, and my mom just looked at me, and said you're so spoiled. We just made that poor lady go through piles of books in the back that she didn't need to go through to look for the book that I wanted. I felt bad after that, but then I kinda forgot about it, and then I was just totally super psyched! I LOVE THOSE BOOKS! Just had to rant about that.



Today I found out what a split end REALLY looks like. On my own head. I was bored in science, and so I picked up the ends of my hair and looked at them, and I saw the end of my hair, it was split in two, and one end was tilted toward the right. And then there was a much smaller piece that was up higher that wilted to the left. And I was all, DUDE! THIS LOOKS SO WEIRD! IT'S A SPLIT END!! So then for the next twenty minutes I was picking through my hair, marvelling at the actual split endedness, freaking out, because I don't know, the thought just occured to me that split ends were actually little hairs at the end of your head that were split into multiple pieces. I just found that really odd. I don't know.
