I feel like caps. I like caps lately.
But so we had MORE tours. (see? caps?)
And today there was Fairview. MY SCHOOL FROM 3 YEARS AGO! Good thing my brother still goes there. So Mr. Briggs class came. And we had to count of to 11. Noah(my brother) was number 11. And he was in my group. Kirsten was with me today. She had never done a tour before, and I had experience, so I kinda explained it to her, and then she went ahead. FAIL. Not because of Kirsten, but because of the rest of us. Alexis and then Hannah and Lalique went to the same place we did. I had hoped that they would catch on and realize that we were going to number 1 on the list, and they should go to number 2, and so on. But noooooo, they all went to number 1. And we all ended up going to the same place at the same time. So me and Kirsten scrambled all the places up to make it the shortest amount of time allotted. Doing all the 6th grade stuff on the 6th grade floor at the same time. Like it should have been, but wasn't. We went to the art room, and Ms. Sherrod said we couldn't go in, so we had to turn around, we went to the band room and waited out there for 5 minutes, awkwardly and silently, until Kirsten was like, we'll come back later, and then we made it halfway down the hall way when some band guy came out of the band room and started chasing after Kirsten saying we could come back and go inside if we wanted, but we had already wasted enough time standing there we just said we'd come back later. Then we went to the gym, over to Ms. Hoekstra's room, where they were supposed to dribble through the chairs, and then she didn't have the chairs up. And I asked her, and she said there was too much football throwing around, and we couldn't do it, so we had to leave the kids and the student teacher wondering if we even knew what we were doing. But then things started to run smoother after that, still it was awkward, and we still looked like we had never done this before, and it was horribly planned. But we finally powered through. Then the Q & A at the END. OMG.
Now before I even go into this, let me just tell you, I did kind of add in some of my own opinions while other's were saying things, but if I hadn't said anything then it never would have gotten said. But I tried not to do it that much.
But it got really hectic, people interuppting each other all over the place, but no one really blamed each other because we all did it at least 5 times. Alexis and Kirsten did most of the talking, and when the rest of the us weren't talking, we just sat there, trying not to look like this was the most horrible Q & A manners. While they were talking I was playing with a pen I had found, it had a light up end, and it was pretty cool and I amused myself by playing with the light on the ground. Noah raises his hand, and Kirsten called on him. "Umm, I just wondered where Delaney got that cool light up pen."
Mr. Briggs: "Haha, Noah, why don't you ask her that at home? Ok? Save it for home."
Haha it was amazing.
But later I get to go to his science expo. Alexis is gonna be there, and so will all the kids I saw today and toured them. Most of them knew me, because they all know my brother and like I said I went there for like all of my elementary experience. (Ok, minus one year, but I barely remember that, alright?) And a lot of them went to after-care with me, Baillee and Cecilia. So I know a lot of them.
TOMORROW IS FRIDAY! :) :) :) :) :)
