I just went to Mystic Lake camp for 4 days. It was super fun. It was MAYOR'S camp. So the mayor came, and he did this canoe race with us. There were 22 spots for campers to sign up, and Carleybeth, me and this random guy from another cabin named Darrel signed up. We were in the canoe, me in the front, Darrel in the middle and Carleybeth in the back. It was fun, because we just raced out there as fast as we could to get to the starting line.
They said go and we just kinda took off and splashed around until we got going and we were going so fast that we didn't even have the chance to turn to go AROUND the buoy. EVERY SINGLE PERSON OUT THERE IN A CANOE managed to run into us. I mean like every single one. Not hard or anything but a bump that sent them out farther than us. EVEN THE MAYOR, OK? EVEN THE MAYOR. Then we were racing to the shore and then Dakota and Maoyao and some other random guy were paddling as fast as they could and then. . . . THEY TIPPED OVER. It was the best thing ever. :) We passed them and came in behind the mayor and some other chicks. So Darrel was convinced we got 3rd, and I was convinced I was soaked.
See you in two weeks when I come BACK from Mystic Lake AGAIN. :D
