So you guys know that I am in fact a fan of Harry Potter, but not like obsessive, I've read the books, seen the movies and for a coupla months I was obsessed with it. But then I read Artemis Fowl (that's another story ENTIRELY) And since then, my obsession has kind of been at bay. Like I always snap my head towards someone who said Harry Potter. And if Twilight can't win an award, then I want Harry Potter to win, because lets face it, Twilight can not (should not) win all of the MTV awards. And now since on Friday the Harry Potter movie is going to come out, it's gonna win a whole bunch more movie awards.
So tell me why that the first I heard of the (real live) Quidditch World Cup game was in New York on Saturday and Sunday was yesterday???
And I heard that from the Harry Potter podcast I listen to. The podcast was released Friday. So I don't understand how this didn't make headlines everywhere!!! I mean really! It's kind of like the coolest thing to make come to life from Harry Potter.
I don't exactly know how the Quidditch game would work. I think they said they were running around on broomsticks on the ground.
I don't know if it would have made a difference if I knew beforehand, or what, because I couldn't really convince my parents to fly me to New York so I could see a make believe game where they fly around on broomsticks catching flying little golden balls.
Somehow I just don't see them buying it.
And then guess what? We were talking about Harry Potter this morning and Kirsten was very passionate about us being OUTSIDE at 3:08 RIGHT AFTER SCHOOL! So we could make it to Harry Potter on time. Because we are doing this on Friday and it's just opening, so we need to get good seats.
So yes, she was very passionate about that, and a glob of spittle flew off her lip (if you know us, we happen to pay attention when people just happen to spittle, and make note of pointing it out) and it was so cold, I swear it turned to snow. Her SPIT turned to SNOW! And floated very snowflake like right onto Hannah's shoe. So for the rest of the day I couldn't even look at Kirsten without thinking of that glob of spit. And laughing. She swore it did NOT turn to snow, that it wasn't cold enough, and spit doesn't usually turn to snow. But I'm pretty sure of what I saw. Ha ha.
Speaking of spittle, let me just remind you.
HANNAH SPITTLED ON MY SUNDAE CAP AFTER I COVERED IT UP BECAUSE SHE HAD SPITTLED IN MY SUNDAE ON THE LAST CROSS COUNTRY MEET! Before she had spittled IN my sundae because I took off the cap. So the next time we went to McDonald's, I kept my sundae covered, and she spittled ON my cap. Gosh, she needs to control her saliva glands.
So yeah, I GET TO SEE HP DH P1 ON FRIDAY!
