Lately I have been doing a lot of things, such as Hello Dolly!, tennis conditioning, shopping, living, all those types of things. And lately, I've been doing a lot of shopping and thinking. Which is weird, because I don't usually do either of those. But lately my friend Cassandra and I have gone shopping quite a bit. Which is interesting to me, because I was never really best friends with her until this year, and when before we were those friends that were just friends for the laughs and just made each other giggle and eat oreos in science class last year. But even though we don't have any classes together we still text all the time, and I eat breakfast with her and Hansel in the morning. We are best friends, and we tell each other everything, and it's different, because I have really only had one best friend like that in the recent years where we actually have worthwhile "secrets" to tell, and that was Alexis or Emma. :) But since Alexis and I differ so much in our opinions on various things, it was hard to tell her things and have her understand how I felt, when she would feel so much different about it. And Emma, well she moved to Holt, and I don't talk to her much any more, but when I do, we still have those conversations that remind me why we are best friends. If she moved back to Lansing, then we could be Super Mega Best Friends. :) (Emma, that's code, for GET BACK HERE NOW.)
But when Cassandra and I were shopping we both realized that we have scarily similar tastes in shoes, shirts, jewelry, etc. and the way we look at different things in our lives. We agree on the same problems and how to handle them, and I like having someone to talk to and know that they will understand your point of view and give you advice, and not judge you and stuff. Which is very different from before.
So this year we've been doing stuff together, going to the dance, watching scary movies, eating pizza that lacked cheese, texting each other constantly, going to the Y, doing swimming.
We've become super best friends, and I don't know what my life would be if I didn't have her there making crusty faces with me. LIFE WOULD BE SCARY.
Please enjoy this picture of our faces. :D
