I don't know about the weather where you've been, but the last two weeks the weather in Michigan has been insane. Last week there was a high of 90 degrees, and sunny. Which was awesome, because it was the first two weeks of tennis, and it was nice to be able to have the opportunity to practice in the courts, and not in the cold, or in the field house because it was raining. It was the first time I actually played tennis, so I had to learn how to play and back hand and forehand, things like that. And the weather was really nice. But after awhile, I was like really? Does it have to be this hot? And you are supposed to drink water, not breathe it, why is it so humid?
And I was completely exhausted the week before last and last week, because I had tennis practice for two hours, and then play rehearsal from 5 to 9 or to 10. Every day. So I would take my lunch box full of snacks AKA my dinner, my bag with my character shoes for rehearsal, and my tennis shoes and clothes for tennis, and then my tennis racket to the bus stop everyday.
So with the weather, you can imagine everyone was wearing shorts and tank tops and t-shirts. So I have already managed to get sunburned cheeks and shoulders, but it's starting to fade into a nice tan. I bet the people in sports are the only one's tanned already. :) And then I would walk into the school and sit down and eat my "dinner." Which most times consisted of a granola bar, raisins, an apple and some water. I would sit there in my sweaty post tennis state, and get ready to put on my costume for a dress rehearsal.
So for the majority of the last two weeks I have spent my days hot, thirsty and tired. Ba.
And this week were the showings of Hello Dolly. It was amazing, Maggie was Dolly and she was awesome. I was just chorus for a number of reasons, one because I'm a sucky singer, and am not loud enough, and in the audition I messed up one of the words, and I forgot to turn in an application.
So next year, I want to get a speaking part. Because I was like one of 5 that didn't get a speaking part. like forreal?
Oh well, once my the last showing today we got pizza and I sat outside and ate it and thought about all the people I actually got to know in the play, and how I'll probably never talk to them again, not like we did in the back hall between cues.

Ok.
